Snowmobile Drag Racing is back at Royal Mountain for the 2019-2020 season. We are excited to host 3 races this season and the dates are December 7th, February 1st, and March 21st. Classes, rules, and running order will be posted on the events page along with the Royal Mountain website. Questions on the rules or classes should be directed to the Renegade Racing or Royal Mountain Ski Area. Royal and Renegade Racing are teamed again for another successful season of snowmobile racing.

The Polar Express Celebration

On Saturday, December 14, the Polar Express Celebration will return to the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts for its fifth consecutive year! This family fun event will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the center’s facility, 2736 State Highway 30 in Gloversville. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas!

This North Pole-themed event will include crafts, games, raffles and all kinds of family fun inspired by the classic tale “The Polar Express.” There will also be opportunities for pictures with Santa Claus from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

The Lexington and CDPHP Autism Resource Center is hosting a Sensory Santa opportunity at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. Sensory Santa is ideal for children with special needs such as autism and sensory processing disorders who may be overwhelmed by large crowds, bright lights and loud music. Children will meet with Santa alone in a quiet, soothing atmosphere, where they will receive individualized attention. Santa’s suit will be extra soft for a soothing sensory experience and there will be no nearby distractions. Children waiting to meet with Santa will be provided with coloring sheets, Christmas bulb decorating and more. Parents and children will also have an opportunity to tour the Lexington and CDPHP Autism Resource Center.

Winter Break Kid’s Camp
December 30, 2019- January 3, 2020 | 9am-4pm
(early drop off at 8am and late pick up until 5pm is available)

After the excitement of Christmas is over, are you left with some kiddos that are already bored on vacation? Send them to us and we will be sure to entertain them! Campers will get to choose from making their very own stuffed snowmen to take home (they won’t melt – promise!), snowman bowling or creating their very own Stone Soup to chase the winter blues away. We are even inviting some of our favorite summer instructors back for some more beauty school lessons and New Year’s Eve party planning projects! Important Camp Information

Cost: $50 daily rate/$175 weekly rate (20% discount for members, 10% discount for additional children from the same family, 10% discount for Lexington Family)

There will be no refunds or exchanges for any of the camps unless the Nigra Arts Center cancels due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment.

Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Payment secures your child’s spot in the camp.

Schedules are subject to change depending on instructor availability

Most camps involve cumulative projects. Your camper will receive the best results from the camps by attending all week.

All camps will run daily from 9a-4p. There will be an hour before and after each session starts and ends for drop off and pick up convenience. Fun camp activities will be provided!
