Elizabeth Cady Stanton: An American Life by Lori Ginzberg

This biography will be particularly relevant to the program’s location in Johnstown where Elizabeth Cady Stanton grew up and began forming her ideas about gender equality.  The discussion of this book is timed to the 100th anniversary of the election that won New York’s women the right to vote in 2017.
