Friday, February 14Illuminated skiing, tubing, ice-skating & dinner service! Open today 10am – 9pm! Bring your sweetie for a Valentine’s Day and Evening  you are both sure to remember! Enjoy a perfect day and evening of cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing and ice-skating (conditions permitting). Linger over our Romantic Candlelit Dinner Service! Reservations are advised and appreciated; dinner is served beginning at 5:00pm with a final seating at 7:00pm. Advance dinner reservations and facility use pass purchase required.

Saturday, February 15 -Ski Patrol Benefit BBQ! Stop by to support our Volunteer Ski Patrol. Enter our drawing for prizes including a Lapland Lake 2-night midweek stay for two OR two season pass memberships during the 2014-2015 winter season. All BBQ and raffle proceeds benefit the Lapland Lake Volunteer Ski Patrol and will be used for First Aid Equipment. Prize drawing will be held Sunday, March 23 (participants need not be present to win). Tickets available at the “Finnish Line” Ski Shop and at the Tuulen Tupa Grill all season long! – Snowshoe by the Light of the Moon! This winter evening is certain to create lasting memories! Dinner and dessert at our cozy Tuulen Tupa Grill followed by a gently paced snowshoe tour. Stop by our lakeside campfire to roast s’mores! $48 per person package includes dinner, dessert, coffee or tea, snowshoe rentals, s’mores and guided tour ($37 for those providing their own snowshoes). Ages 18+. Space is limited; reservations are a must! Dinner service begins at 5pm; the guided snowshoe tour begins at 7pm and runs until 8:30/9pm. Please bring headlamps. We have a limited number to loan on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited space available – reserve early!

Monday, February 17Presidents’ Day Come up and enjoy the day at Lapland Lake! Open 9am-4:30pm.

Tuesday, February 18 – Friday February 21 – Full weekend lesson schedule and Napa Kiikku run daily throughout the holiday period! Trails open daily 9am – 4:30pm.

A complete cross country ski and snowshoe facility in its 36th winter season, Lapland Lake offers fully equipped rental and retail shops, a comfortable two-story warming lodge with snack bar and trailside Tuulen Tupa Grill.  The trail system has 50km of trails for all ability levels.  38km are marked, mapped and snowcat groomed with trackset and skating lanes; 12km are ungroomed, marked, mapped snowshoe trails.

In addition to cross country skiing and snowshoeing, other resort activities include ice-skating, tubing on two junior hills, wilderness ski touring and visiting with the resort’s resident reindeer!

Lodging is available in private rooms and 10 private housekeeping cottages.  Lodging packages include use of trails each day and evening including days of arrival and departure, use of the Finnish wood burning sauna and 50% off one regularly scheduled group ski lesson per person.  Attractive lodging discounts are offered non-holiday Sunday through Thursday nights.
