The 5th Annual Fulton County Area News Gloversville Christmas Parade is being planned to take place at 7 pm on Saturday November 30th, 2019.

In recognition of her dedication toward aiding the Salvation Army of Fulton County Christmas Toy Drive the parade’s Grand Marshal will be 12-year-old Bella Romano of The Romano Acro Dance Academy at 50 N. Main Street in downtown Gloversville.

The 2019 parade is proudly sponsored by the Glover Insurance Agency at 38 N. Main Street.

Participation in the parade is free however each entry is asked to provide at least one or more new unwrapped toy(s) to be collected by officials with the Salvation Army of Fulton County Christmas Toy Drive at the conclusion of the parade route.

The route for the 2019 Gloversville Christmas Parade will include North Main Street from 8th Avenue south to South Main Street before ending at the Gloversville Water Department near Forest Street.

The city’s annual tree lighting is also expected to take place on the night of the parade through planning by the Gloversville Recreation Commission.

In the event of unsafe weather a make-up date for the parade has been set for Saturday December 7th at 7 pm.
