The Caroga Historical Museum opens the summer season with a welcome reception for featured artist Alan Gessinger. Alan grew up in the Caroga/Gloversville area, served in the Air Force, and has taught art classes at FMCC. His art decorates the covers of two books by local author, Marcia Buffett. Alan’s exhibit, From Pines to Palms, will run from June 25 – July 31. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 1pm – 4pm. Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted.
