Weaving cloth with a loom is an ancient practice, and weaving with hand-held looms has been a simple and convenient way to make your own cloth products for centuries. Instructor Barbara Sinacore will teach this time-honored process of weaving with a hand-held loom in a two-week workshop January 18 and 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Barbara will show you how to weave a unique 8×12 wall hanging out of fabric, yarn and found objects. Students are asked to bring a small object – for example, a seashell or a stick – to incorporate into their work. Other materials, including fabric and looms, will be provided. This class is for beginners and is recommended for teens & adults. The cost is $40 for both sessions. Visit to register, visit http://conta.cc/1JuPmpp or call (518) 661-9932.
