The summer production will be “Fiddler on the Roof” a musical directed by Rick Grossman July 24 – August 1st @8PM & July 26th @2PM. Adults $15. Seniors/Students $12. Music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and book by Joseph Stein. Set in the pale of settlement of Imperial Russia in 1905, based on Tevye and his daughters. Tzeitel begs her father to let her marry a poor tailor rather than the middle age butcher that he has already chosen for her. Tevye must choose between his own daughter’s happiness and those beloved traditions that keep the outside world at bay. Meanwhile, there are other forces at work in Anatevka, dangerous forces which threaten to destroy the very life he is trying to preserve.
