Although well known for its industrial history, Fulton County also has deep rural roots. For the first time, Fulton County Historical Society in conjunction with Mayfield Grange #683 and local farmers will talk about farming past, present and future in the foothills of the Adirondacks. There will be demonstrations of crafts such as weaving, sewing and blacksmithing; Kathie Greenwold will appraise quilts by appointment (call to schedule 370 1667). All exhibit rooms will be open.
