Using a picture frame and glass, students will create a beautiful sun catcher mosaic to hang in a window. This will be a combination of hands-on/lecture with demonstrations with Linda. Students will learn the basics of glass on glass mosaic. They will also learn to cut and nip glass into desired shapes to use as mosaic tesserae. Linda will show students the proper use of adhesive, design and andemento, finishing and grouting. Students will use stained glass, glass globs, beads, millefiori, and tempered glass to create their mosaic. This is a three-part series (with a possible fourth day of class if needed) and is open to adults age 18+. Materials provided.
