On Saturday, December 19th, the Glove City Winds will present a program of works by American composer John Williams and other holiday fare.
Proceeds will go to benefit the Capital District Cancer Resource Foundation, which benefits local cancer treatment centers directly.
A suggested donation of $10 will be taken at the door. The concert is at 3:30pm in the afternoon at the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church, located at 22 North Main Street, Mayfield, New York.
Works to include highlights from the films: Star Wars, Hook, E.T., Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, as well as Eric Whitacre’s “Lux Aurumque” and traditional holiday music. The Glove City Winds is under the direction of Joshua Thompson.
