On Saturday, November 21st, the Glove City Winds and Community Winds will perform in “Russian Expeditions”, an afternoon of music featuring the most influential composers from Russia. The program includes works by: Rimsky-Korsakov, Shostakovich, Stravinsky and much more.
Katharine Kollias conducts the Glove City Community Winds, an ensemble with talented high school and college students and musicians from the community. Joshua Thompson conducts the Glove City Winds, an ensemble featuring several professional musicians and educators from across the northeast, as well as locally.
The concert begins at 3:30pm at the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church and tickets will be on sale at the Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market in October. Come and support your local arts!
