Celebrate the fifth anniversary of the founding of Micropolis Cooperative, Inc. at a reception for the opening of the juried show “Art— Food for the Soul”. An evening of fine art and music will be held on Friday, May 6 from 5-7pm. Gloversville Community Music will entertain and refreshments will be served.
The show will be on exhibit in the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber Gallery, 2 N. Main St., Gloversville, and in the Micropolis Gallery, just steps away at 30 N. Main St., inside Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market.
Artwork was selected from entries submitted by over 60 artists by juror, Doretta Miller, Skidmore College Professor of Art. Awards will be presented at 6pm in the Chamber.
The show will run through June 24, 2016. The juried show hung in the Chamber Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm. Micropolis is open seven days a week. (MON-FRI / 8AM-7PM — SAT / 8AM-5PM — SUN / 9AM-4PM).
