Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville, will hold a “Meet the Artists” reception with guest artist Martha Starke. Starke, a resident of Saratoga Springs, will feature her “Petal People”— a collection of whimsical figures created with only plant material.
Also on display will be a new artwork by artists Julie Branch, Dan Bridge, Laurie Cerasia, Carol Law Conklin, Ruth Crotty, James Dempsey, Constance Dodge, Nancy Dunn, Susy Easterly, Katherine Ehle, Cheryl Gutmaker, Michelle Harring, Linda Hinkle, Lynda Naske, Ellen Rae Panero, Judith Plotner, Sandra Grace Smith, Patsy Suydam, Eileen Testo and Christopher Yusko.
The reception will be held in the gallery between 5 and 7pm on Friday, March 4. Music will be provided by “Ponticello,” the cello duo of Ellen Adamson and Samantha Clarke. Both women are members of Gloversville Community Music.
The show will run through April 30. The gallery is open seven days a week. (MON-FRI / 8AM-7PM — SAT / 8AM-5PM — SUN / 9AM-4PM)
