Adirondack Mountain Club’s Foothills Chapter Hosts Meeting and Lecture Wednesday November 11th
“Nature Walks in Cemeteries of the Capital District-Flora and Fauna” is the subject of Yvonne Divak’s presentation to the Foothills Chapter-ADK on Wednesday, November 11 at 7PM at the Gloversville Senior Center, 53 Church St, Gloversville, NY. Ms. Divak has spent many years researching the history of people buried in cemeteries and while doing so is delighted to have accidentally come into contact with various animals and plants. She will share some of these experiences with us. ADK members and guests may find long hikes and distant travel are not always necessary to be outdoors and to enjoy nature. All are invited to attend.
Come with the Adirondack Mountain Club on a hike, snowshoe or camping adventure this fall! We have many different levels of outings for everyone and every age from getting yourself started to those who wish to challenge themselves. Learn more about our natural world! There is so much to see here in the beautiful foothills of the Adirondacks! Check out our trips in our monthly newsletter at www.adk.org, click on the the link for Find A Chapter, go to Foothills chapter.
