Choose inexpensive add-ons to get near flowers, coins, or other small subjects. Sharpen the image and deepen the field of focus and see how supplemental lighting can help.
Bring your DSLR camera with preferred accessories, tripod, and Mac or Windows laptop with image editing software. Good familiarity with your camera and software is strongly suggested. Other dates may be available.
