The Mayfield Historical Society’s 24th Annual Christmas Open House will be on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, at the Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Rd., Mayfield. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The Homestead will be decorated inside and out in the spirit of Christmas. Tours, weaving demonstrations, and hot mulled cider and cookies will be served. There will be musical entertainment on both days from 12 to 2. Home made pies will be sold. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
