The Route Fifty-5 will give a free concert at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13, at Broadalbin-Perth High School as part of the district’s Hometown Concert Series.
The versatile brass quintet will perform songs from The Wizard of Oz, along with many American standards and classical selections. The Route Fifty-5 formed in the autumn of 2008 out of a love of brass music and a commitment to the idea of the chamber ensemble.
