This is fundraising event is to benefit the Gloversville Cat Sanctuary and Information Center, Inc. GCSIC,as otherwise known is a non-profit organization which up to a number of weeks ago ran the shelter aspect out of the residence of the President, Michelle Kaufman, at which time it was made known to her that it was against the zoning regulations. Now, after much deliberation on the part of the city, they have been told of the zones that would be appropriate.
The money raised would be put towards the purchase of the building an fixing it up to meet the proper codes for an animal shelter.
