On August 24 and 25 this summer, the third annual Wheelerville Trails Mountain Bike Festival takes place anticipating once again visitors from all over the country. This event promises a wild weekend of two-wheeled fun in the southern Adirondacks. This year features the return of the Live Free and Fly Downhill Race, bike races, Jump Jam, kid’s events, wheelie competition, guided rides, skills clinics, great food and beverages, music and outdoor gear raffle. Both days will offer exhibitions, skills clinics, trail riding, food and music. Miles of expert, intermediate and newer novice trails can be experienced at Wheelerville Trails, with new additions, expansions in progress and slated for the future.
New this year, a Friday night welcome party at Vrooman’s (2040 St. Hwy 10, Caroga), and an event After Party at Pine Lake Lodge (1050 St. Hwy 10, Caroga), featuring on stage live music by well-known Albany band Mirk.
