THE EVENT is an ever-changing extraordinary gala to benefit Nathan Littauer Hospital. Each year we choose a theme and create an experience to remember. What will it be this year?

Hales Mills will be decorated to create unique spaces for dining, dancing, and conversation. Enjoy this fun evening and support Nathan Littauer Hospital as well. Do not miss The EVENT, as this years’ gala will have new features that are sure to please. Guests usually choose to attend The EVENT in cocktail attire, evening wear or costume. Patron tickets are $250.00 per person, and General Admission tickets are $125.00 per person. The Mayfield Historical Society will hold its annual Strawberry Festival at the Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Rd., Mayfield on Saturday, June 8, from noon to 4 pm. Strawberry shortcake, ice cream, and beverages will be served. The festival marks the opening of the Rice Homestead for the season. Donations are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 8 years of age. In case of rain, the venue will be the Mayfield Presbyterian Church on Main St. For additional information, call 518-332-0538.

24th Vintage Cafe Classic Car Show featuring hundreds of classic cars with a classic car parade. Registration is FREE. The Johnstown Area Community Center’s (JACC) annual fireworks celebration will be held at Johnstown’s Knox Field Saturday June 29 with a rain sun June 30th. The band FLAME will kick off the evening at 7pm leading up to the musically choreographed Santore’s Fireworks at 9:30pm. The Life Net helicopter will arrive on the Knox Field baseball field around 6:45.

The Johnstown Area Community Center’s (JACC) annual Star Spangled Fireworks Celebration at Knox Field will take place Saturday June 29 (rain date 30th). The band “FLAME” will kick off the evening at 7pm leading up to the Santore’s Fireworks musically choreographed fireworks show at 9:30pm. The Life Net helicopter will be landing for a static display around 6:45 pm.
