Join us this Halloween on Saturday, October 31st for a WALKING tour of interesting and spooky places near the central Downtown Johnstown area. Your tour guides will take you to places and tell you about people who have lived and died and maybe still hang around Johnstown. We will share stories and folklore, history, and personal anecdotes from people who have had some mysterious encounters from the beyond.
YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT
There will be absolutely no walk ins for any of our tours.
Tours will begin at 5pm and leave every 30 minutes until 8:30pm. Each tour will be limited to 8 people and you must register for a specific tour time.
Tour will cost $10 per person. Payment will be collected at the start of your tour. All proceed of this event will support the Johnstown Historical Society and the maintenance and restoration of it’s 3 properties: The Drumm House, The Museum, & James Burk’s Inn.
This tour will require you to walk long distances, up and down hills, and sometimes at a quick pace.
While this tour is not especially scary we do not recommend it for young children, toddlers, or babies and will require any children under 18 to be accompanied by an adult.
Covid-19 social distancing precautions will be taken and appropriate face masks must be worn by all participating parties for the duration of the event.
Tours will begin at the Colonial Cemetery Gates on West Green Street and will end at the Johnstown Historical Society Museum.
