Encountering the Wild in the Artwork of Paul Bransom” – This presentation will supplement the current Paul Bransom exhibit featured at the Caroga Historical Museum during the month of August.  Bransom, a long-time summer resident of Canada Lake, was known as the Dean of American Animal Art. His works appeared on the covers of magazines like The Saturday Evening Post, The Country Gentleman, and Field & Stream and illustrated books like The Call of the Wild and The Wind in the Willows”.  Allen was a professor in the SUNY-Oneonta Art Department.  The presentation will be held in the Dance Hall on the Sherman’s property.
