Highlight your story by being part of this statewide celebration of New York State’s history. Building on the success of statewide Heritage Weekend events in previous years, Heritage Weekend will join Governor Cuomo’s new Path Through History initiative, and become Path Through History Weekends, June 1-2 and 8-9.
Path Through History Weekends events can include special programs, discounted or free admission, or any event that celebrates national, state or local heritage. Historic sites, museums, architecturally significant buildings, local historians and historical societies, battlefields, historic districts, community groups and any resources that connect directly with New York State heritage are all invited to participate and get involved.
