The Sacandaga Valley Arts Network is excited to present the works of Leslie Ford in her current exhibition: “Incandescent- Aiming Light as a Guide” This exhibition will be open September 18 – November 22 during library hours.
Meet Leslie October 3rd, 6-8pm at our artist reception. Refreshments will be provided.

“Paintings are created from light- each color, shade, and variation represents light vibrating uniquely on the canvas. Your eye joins in the creation of the experience by taking in, translating, and interpreting what the light brings to you. This showing offers you a chance to enter into the relationship of light sharing and interpretation.”

Leslie creates in acrylics and mixed media. She shares her completed and in-progress works on her Lyric Refuge Fine Arts Facebook page.

Leslie Ford’s sources of inspiration begin with the foundation of family, friends, and school colleagues woven with music, light, and metaphor. Living within the light and beauty of the Adirondacks helps her translate questions, stories and meaning to canvas.
