  • 6:00:pmSVAN Arts presents: Sirsy at Northville Waterfront Park

SIRSY is a rock and soul duo with lots of pop sensibility and just the right amount of sass. The Boston Globe sums it up, “Little band. Big Sound.” No more needs to be said. Although the only thing “little” about Sirsy is that there’s just two of them. The rest is bigger than a T-Rex. Close your eyes and listen to the power and heart in their music and you’ll swear there’s more than two people on stage. It’s crank up the volume, sing along at the top of your lungs music — even when the ballads kick in. Plus, “Their clever, smart songs have more hooks than a tacklebox.”

  • ThursdayAug 1st 12:00:amNYS Hall of Fame 12U Tournament at Parkhurst Field
As pitchers and catchers report (on my birthday) it makes everything seem brighter, more optimistic. I await the new season with renewed affection for the game. Soon the youngsters will be practicing for little league.
Working with Dave Karpinski of Parkhurst Field, directly across the street from the NYS New York State Baseball Hall of Fame, we will be hosting 4 tournaments this August , ages 10-12. If you have a team that you would like to enter, contact Dave or myself.
Its similar to the COOPERSTOWN DREAMS PARK experience.
Its all bout the kids. Lets make memories for them. Parkhurst Field is beautiful. Its like a Major League Park for Little Leaguers.
Bringing baseball to youngsters, teaching them the love of the game is one of the best gifts you can give a child. Its an experience they will always treasure.

This event is designed to unite the artist community and welcome art enthusiasts from all walks of life. Join us for a journey through various art forms, creating connections and inspiration in a vibrant atmosphere.
At the heart of “Harmony of Art” lies our mission to forge bonds among artists. Local painters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, creators, and performers will showcase their masterpieces, exchange ideas, and collaborate on innovative projects. Established artists will mentor emerging talents, fostering a supportive network for growth.
Interactive art stations offer hands-on experiences for novices and seasoned art lovers alike, with workshops led by skilled artists empowering participants to explore new mediums. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that Sawyer Fredericks will be performing, adding a dynamic musical dimension to the event.
In addition to the artistic offerings, our dedicated farmers market will showcase sustainable art and the passion of local growers, aligning with our commitment to environmental consciousness. Attendees will be invited to engage actively with thought-provoking art installations, creative challenges, and collaborative community projects.
“Harmony of Art” is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the human spirit and the boundless potential of creativity.
