Kenside Park Ceremony 6:00 pm
Tree Lighting 6:15 pm
Parade 6:30 pm

The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade will be 9-year-old arson fire survivor Safyre Terry who very proudly serves as Little Miss Capital Region Toys for Tots. Like Safyre Schenectady’s Super Survivor and Safyre’s Angels on Facebook to follow Safyre’s story. Please help us show this amazing little girl a huge Broadalbin welcome!!!

Those watching the parade are asked to bring at least one new unwrapped toy to help support the efforts of Capital Region Toys for Tots. Toys may be passed directly to United States Marined as they pass by during the parade. All toys received will be used to help support less fortunate children in Fulton County (all toys must be new with tags). Like Capital Region Toys for Tots on Facebook to follow related updates or visit www.toysfortotsalbanyny.com for more information.

Line up for the parade will be from 5:30 to 6:00 at the Broadalbin-Perth High School at 100 Bridge Street. All entries are asked to enter the school’s rear driveway off of Pine Street. The parade will begin at 6:30 sharp.

The parade will begin at the school before continuing over Bridge and onto North Main Street then turning left onto School Street and finishing at the stop sign at School Street and First Avenue. ONCE YOU HAVE REACHED THIS POINT THE PARADE IS OVER. ALL LARGER VEHICLES ARE ASKED TO GO STRAIGHT TO EXIT FROM THE AREA. THOSE THAT NEED TO RETURN TO THE SCHOOL MAY TURN LEFT ONTO FIRST AVENUE AND EVENTUALLY HEAD BACK TO THE SCHOOL (I had to discontinue First Avenue this year due to tie ups with float entries and other safety reasons).

Participation in the Broadalbin Christmas Parade is open to all. Anyone who would like to participate is invited to contact Becky Spraker on Facebook:
