The Mayfield Historical Society will hold its annual Strawberry Festival at the Rice Homestead on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 4 pm. Strawberry shortcake, ice cream, and beverages will be served. The festival marks the opening of the Rice Homestead for the season. There will be music by Gary VanSlyke, tours of the home and weaving demonstrations. The festival is open to the public. Donations are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 8 years of age. For additional information, call 661-5576.
