Event Details

The Glove Theatre President, Kathleen Perrott, and Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist (GDDS) Jennifer Donovan at Fulton County Center for Regional Growth (CRG) announce a new event that will be held on Saturday, March 30th celebrating music and downtown Gloversville.

The evening includes fun for everyone of all ages:

· 5 to 7 p.m., a vibrant and festive downtown with shopping at local stores and downtown dining options at The Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market plus Food Trucks parked on Main Street near The Glove Theatre (A&S Spice and the Plated Palette)

· 5:30 p.m., a Second Line New Orleans style parade with local musicians and “strollers” joining The NoLaNauts band on Main Street. The parade group will depart from The Glove Theatre and head out onto the sidewalks of Main Street. The procession will make a round trip of Main Street – stopping in front of participating stores. The parade will return to The Glove Theatre between 6 and 6:30.

· 7 p.m., The NoLaNauts concert at The Glove Theatre, 42 N. Main Street

· 7 p.m., Tradition Duo concert at Dorn Space, 99 N. Main St.

NoLaNaut band member Tom O’Connor said The NoLaNauts are psyched to bring our brand of New Orleans style fun and funk to the Glove City.

The Glove Theatre is providing Mardi Gras beads to participating stores to give out to customers from 5 to 7 p.m. (while supplies last). Individuals who collect three different colored necklaces will receive a free popcorn when attending The NoLaNauts concert at The Glove or a free concession item for those attending the Tradition Duo concert at the Dorn Space.
