Yes, I know, we just organized a big event in the Village and many were asking if we were still having the DOINS. We plan our core events a year in advance and fill in the pieces as we get closer. The Village is pleased to announce the 2024 Village of Northville DOINS celebration will be held Thursday, July 4th through Saturday, July 6th. Thursday will kick off at 5 p.m. with entertainment, food, vendors, and activities in the Waterfront Park. The event will continue Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. with entertainment, food, vendors and activities in the Park. We will have inflatables obstacle courses and bounce houses, a mechanical bull, an eliminator attraction as well as an ax throwing booth for Friday and Saturday. We are pleased to announce that Tailspin will be performing in the bandshell from 6-8 pm. Fireworks will be at dusk on Friday, July 5th. The fireworks will be shot off from the Spencer’s property on Prospect Hill. The Parade will kick off on Saturday, July 6th at 1 p.m. Prior to the parade, Top Shelf Entertainment will be spinning tunes before the parade and immediately after. The theme of the 2024 DOINS parade is Hometown Hoedown. Our Grand Marshal is Norma Porteus! On Saturday afternoon, we will have live music by Luke Pavlus from 4-7 p.m.in the bandshell of the Waterfront Park.
