The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce have announced that the official 2015 Great Sacandaga Lake Map is printed and ready for distribution. The Chambers are the designated tourism promotion agencies for their respective counties that promote tourism utilizing I LOVE NY tourism matching funds. This map is one of many brochures that the Tourism Departments produce to attract visitors to the area.
“This is the seventh edition of the Great Sacandaga Lake map originally printed by the Fulton County Tourism Department. For the 2015 tourism season, Fulton County partnered with Saratoga County to include the entire Great Sacandaga Lake and its businesses,” stated Gina DaBiere-Gibbs, Director of Tourism for the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to partner with Saratoga County on this project and enhance the distribution of the map.”
“We are excited to collaborate with Fulton County on this project, and we hope by increasing distribution and promoting the businesses and lake assets of both Saratoga and Fulton Counties we can bring more visitors to the area while sharing with them the many recreational and tourism opportunities the Sacandaga Lake has to offer” states Annamaria Bellantoni, Vice President of Tourism at the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
The Great Sacandaga Lake map provides information to recreational users of the lake in all aspects. Listings for accommodations, attractions, lake and tourism resources, dining, shopping, and much more are included. Distribution of the map includes the Fulton County Visitor Center at State Routes 30 and 29 in Vail Mills, trade shows, visitor packets and mailings. The map will also be distributed at the Saratoga County Chamber Visitor Center, the Exit 9 Visitor Center on I-87 and several other outlets in Saratoga County and to anyone requesting more information on Sacandaga Lake.
