The Powley-Piseco Road

The Powley-Piseco Road can be accessed either via NY 29A from the south (just east of the bridge over East Canada Creek) or via NY 10 from the north (just south of Piseco Outlet).

The Powley-Piseco Road, described as one of the best seasonal roads in the Adirondacks and one of the last old Adirondack dirt roads, (17 miles total with a little over 8 miles in Fulton County; access in the village of Stratford).  The Powley-Piseco Road extends from Route 10 near Piseco Lake to Stratford, and cuts through the approximate center of the Ferris Lake Wild Forest, a large, diverse piece of Forest Preserve land.
