IRL (In Real Life) Minecraft | 9a-10:30a
Does your little person love Minecraft? Would you love to see them explore outside of the video game? Over the course of their week with us, kids will create their own creeper heads, Minecraft-style outside treasure hunts, TNT pinatas and pizza out of pixels! We will bring a perfect combination of art and learning to life at the Nigra Arts Center!

Percussion Discussion | 10:30a-12n
Kids will clap, tap and stomp their way around the Nigra Arts Center for these classes. Playing percussion is the simplest form of musical creativity and something everyone can do! Campers will start by learning the basics: form, dynamics, timbre and rhythms. By creating their own instruments in our art studios and learning the science behind percussion, campers will learn how to beat to the rhythm of their own drum!

Music Video Workshop | 1p-2:30p
Have you ever wanted your kids to get a sense of what MTV was like when you were a kid? In this class, campers will be exposed to many different types of music and music videos as they work throughout the week to make their own video creation! Kids will have opportunities to create their own music, write their own lyrics and invent their own dance moves.

Culinary Kids | 2:30p-4p
In this class, our chefs will use math skills like measuring, counting, fractions and sequencing to learn how to make healthy meals! Reading skills will be sharpened as they read recipes and increase their vocabulary. In addition, campers will safely learn the skills and techniques necessary to create their own culinary masterpieces daily!

Important Camp Information: To register visit pncreativeartscenter.org or call 518-661-9932. Each Child must bring their own Lunch and water bottle

Cost: $45 daily rate/$165 weekly rate (20% discount for members, 10% discount for additional children from the same family, 10% discount for Lexington Family)

There will be no refunds or exchanges for any of the camps unless the Nigra Arts Center cancels due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment.

Schedules are subject to change depending on instructor availability

Most camps involve cumulative projects. Your camper will receive the best results from the camps by attending all week.
